About Us
Semcon Informatic offers complete information solutions within customer service and interactive marketing, targeted for professional as well as consumer end-users. Our offers support our customers’ products throughout the product life cycle; from marketing and sales to installation, maintenance and repair. Our customers can primarily be found within industries having complex products, e.g. the automotive, telecom and manufacturing industries.
A clear trend is that more and more products around us get a higher technical content, which in turn puts higher demands on the information accompanying the product. Leading products need leading information solutions, regardless if they are aimed at sales organizations in order to increase sales, are integrated in the product to increase usability, or required by the service organization in order to satisfy the user from a customer service perspective.
An increasing portion of our customers’ marketing budgets are dedicated for interactive initiatives on the Internet. It is a common prediction that most marketing and brand positioning in the future will be made on the net. This shift will put entirely new requirements on how our customers will use for example product information for marketing, as well as selling their products and customer service offerings. In order to meet these new demands, our customers will need well thought through information strategies and products – strategies and products we can support developing.
Semcon Informatic’s competent employees include for example project managers, information designers, interactive designers, method engineers, technical writers, and technical illustrators.
Within the area of interactive marketing, we use our brand Zooma to communicate and deliver our offer to the market. Zooma is a fully owned subsidiary within Semcon Informatic, having operations in both Sweden and the UK.
An increasing portion of our business is carried out in projects and as managed services. In the latter we take the full responsibility for a function, such as production of customer service information, or the whole value chain of information. Within a managed service partnership with our customers we can also take responsibility for developing information strategies and new information products.
